Amazing view, good rooms, very close to the old town. Edi is a cool guy, really welcoming, gave us a lot of hints
Wifi, location, sea view - if you get one
The site doesn't tell you, but bathrooms are not self contained and may be shared. Walls are paper thin. Bathrooms are cramped and basic. My room was not serviced on a daily basis. On value for money, I do not recommend this hotel. May be worth 50 Euro if you get a sea view.
Fabulous location which is literally 3 minutes from the old town. All the attractions of the old town without the crowds or prices, great views and swimming 2 minutes away. Rooms fairly basic but very clean and have everything you need.
The best things are location and Edi (owner). We were in Dubrovnik two times before but anyone didn't explain us anything about city without our questions. Edi show some lovely places and all necessary details. Also he has very funny dog. Good price, good place and free internet - I think that is the best place to stay in Dubrovnik.
Great location and the rooms were very clean.Linen and bathroom was very clean which is not always the case with holiday apartments. Edi the landlord was very helpful and gave us a great rundown on the city and some great food places.Very recommended..
Very close to center (1 min), next to pile square (central bus hub), tourist office. Price equal to hotels at 4km distance to center. Free wireless internet. My room had a small fridge & airco and a nice sea view. Owner gave good hints on what to see and do.
Everything. Edi was very helpful and accommodating. The room (apartment) was fantastic - seemed newly appointed and was very comfortable. Great location near old town, but still quiet. Would highly recommend it.
The rooms are located right next to the old city walls and they are kept very clean. Edi is very helpful and has all the local knowledge
there are steps to the appartment, not a whole lot but a few which is awkward with luggage but then again there are a lot of steps around the old city. Also the appartment was two flights up narrow steps, obviously no lift. We didnt have a sea view but then again it did say subject to availability and Edi promised us one on our next visit !
Sea view from the room, situation just in front of the old town.
The hotel is not clean, we slept in a bed with several unclean things. The bathroom was separate, althou we paid for in-room and water leaked from the roof. The price was particularly elevated for value. I would adviwe not to go there, there are really plenty of available rooms and there are marked all over the town so there are easy to find out.
The host was very informative and upgraded us to a city centre apartment
Excellent location, steps away from bus plaza, Old City, beach and grocery store. Rooms are very basic. Pay the small amount extra for a sea view room as the view is spectacular. Great wifi connection. This is no frills accommodation, but the trade off is that you get Edi. Edi tells you which grocery store has the best prices, the nearest entry point for the city wall tour, and the names of the restaurants that he goes to himself. We had lots of time and so went to every place Edi suggested and had excellent meals at reasonable prices. Edi treats you like he is so happy to chose to stay at his place, and you feel that there is nothing he will not do to make your stay better. I don't think I have ever stayed in a place where I felt so cared for.
As I said above, this is no frills. But Edi is doing something right because he fills all 8 of his rooms pretty much every night. Only complaint is that there is no tv. Mind you, with that view............!
